2008

3 separate hunter safety classes for firearms will be available this year. The classes will be held on the following dates:



  • Class #1 (Lead Instructor: Ken Foster at 452-8968) REGISTRATION IS CLOSED

    • Thursday, 9/18, 6:30PM - 10PM

    • Friday, 9/26, 6:30PM - 10PM

    • Saturday, 9/27, 9:00AM - 3PM


  • Class #2 (Lead Instructor: Ken Foster at 452-8968)

    • Friday, 10/3, 6:30PM - 10PM

    • Friday, 10/10, 6:30PM - 10PM

    • Saturday, 10/11, 9:00AM - 3PM


    • Class #3 (Lead Instructor: Brad Forrest at 473-2309)

      • Friday, 10/24, 6:30PM - 10PM

      • Friday, 10/31, 6:30PM - 10PM

      • Saturday, 11/01, 9:00AM - 3PM


    Successful completion of this program is required in order to obtain a New York State hunting license. There is no fee for this program. Donations are optional.

    Participants must attend all 3 sessions of their class
    All classes are held at the Pleasant Valley Trout & Game Club located on Salt Point Turnpike.
